At one of waterhole hideouts - First time in my life I saw a pink dragonfly. Absolutely gorgeous! Even the wings are fine pink wisps. There was a turquoise one as well, but the little bugger wouldn’t stay still long enough for a picture.
We spent the last few days of 2012 with friends who live in Rustenburg, about 2 & half hours drive from where we live. Just outside Sun City is a game reserve, Pilanesberg. We spent one day driving through half the reserve, snapping pics of animals, birds and nature. No big cats though – although we witnessed an Elephant rampage in the distance – big bulls chasing down a gorge, crashing trees as they go. Amazing to listen to!
