This is my DT project for this weeks Nuts About Sketches sketch #249. I love working with Shawn's sketches - they're very fluid and flexible.

I like feeding the birds in the winter. The birds like that I feed them in the winter. Typical are black phoebes and cardinals and an occasional flicker. This year though, there are blue jays. LOTS of them. I didn't see a single one last winter. They're pretty much the feed seed bullies - when the blue jays are there, nobody else gets to hang out so while they are pretty, I do miss seeing the cardinals. This one jay was pretty brave - letting me stand in the doorway and photograph him without flying away.

I misted the big flower with some Lindy's, and I inked the smaller flowers with some glimmer mist. The wired beading came in a Swirlydoos kit from a long time ago. The letters are old old OLD stickers from a Peachy Cheap deal. The papers are OLD My Minds Eye Meadowlark, which I've been hoarding forever. The ric-rac is vintage old from my stash.
