Pull on the skunk to see the hidden journaling. The 2012 holiday season was extra special. Being one of two siblings with two kids apiece, it seems that my sister and I getting everyone together would be easy, but it only happens once every three or four years and had not happened at Christmas since 1997. After back to back feasts Christmas and Boxing Days, we decided on a different activity, a cribbage tournament. Nine of us were playing with the idea of doing a round robin. We started about 1:30 p.m. with three games going at a time. Around 7:00 it became apparent there was a winner. Sam had remained undefeated all day with two skunks (a skunk counts as two wins). Kyle skunked two in a row before playing Sam in the final match, he skunked her to win the tournament. Most of us played a couple games then sat out a game. Everyone played at least four games with seven at most, it was too many , but still a lot of fun. The tournament got everyone sitting at the same table for a fun reason, no pressure and no where else to be. A great memory. The title is cut from face cards.
