A simple, 2nd page for Hayden's album to compliment the ATV LO. His first catch at the lake, July 2012.
I made the hand pressed paper at the left; trying to get out of my comfort zone and using old techniques from way back when. Yes, I know the lighthouse is not straight - it must be on a rock! I'm afraid the papers will rip if I try to fix it so I'm leaving it for now. If it keeps me awake tonight, I'll attend to it tomorrow, LOL. One scrappy friend said, "maybe the waves got it".... cute!

Wow the textured pp looks great so creative ,the colours are so bright and pretty, the photos are so precious. His first catch will long be remembered I'm sure . I love the photo at top and his relaxed way of fishing. Lighthouse is cute and if your worried I'd stick a rock or a wave in front of the base.Great work.

LOVE the handpressed paper - it's such a wonderful element/texture. Hope you don't lose any sleep over the crooked lighthouse - I would never have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out - nothing on my lo is ever straight - LOL. Love the entire lake/water theme - the multi color pp for the punched border adds a bit of whimsy and fun. GREAT lo!!!

So cute! I like the seaside/lakeside elements. Your pressed paper looks fabulous and is a neat technique, and I like the multi-coloured punched papers and light house on the rock! Of course, the glitter is the perfect sparkly touch!
