Grr, I am so new to this. I had a nice and long comment, changed pages and lost my whole comment. Here goes again.
You like my orbs? Surprised anyone else noticed them!
This roll top desk belonged to my late father-in-law before he died
Sunnygirl, I am so new to this, I didn't understand when you said something about adding someone to favorites? How do I do that? Do I need to add people to a list on my end?
Thanks again for your lovely comments!
I do have a plan for this wall. I have another hutch that was my father-in-laws before he passed, that I am going put right next to the desk. Perfect fit.
Well..I love this! Everyone's room could use tweeking!! dont care who you are!!! but, there are 2 people in your room that seem to be ok with it. Those 'orbs' on the TV screen! Someone is visiting ! That's great! I too love the desk and when you 'answer' back on here, we dont get it unless you are added to their 'favorite' list....!!
Thanks for your ideas! I do need to concentrate on one area at a time. Except this is one corner of my Woman Cave, two walls, with everything right there. Yikes.
I have been making due with the containers and things that I have, so I can spend my money on supplies that I "need". But, in concentrating on one area, maybe I can watch for containers that are on sale.
Project for today: Measure all areas and look at the sale ads in the paper. Thanks again!
I LOVE your rolltop desk!! Organization guru Julie Morgenstern uses the acronym SPACE: Sort (group like things), Purge (we all know what that means; we're just usually bad at getting rid of s/b'g stuff!), Assign a Home (I think this was based on how frequently & where you use it), Containerize (select containers based on the dimensions of everything you need to store) and Equalize (periodically tweak your system). HTH!
So much potential in your room! I would love to "pop over" and help you organize it! I love the wood and the pink wall! Maybe try to hide or replace some of the plastic storage units. Possibly frame some of your husband's things and cluster them together in one area. Think about the way you work and the things you use most. Put them close to your work space. Maybe a tall shelf with baskets for less used items. Keep us informed of your progress!!!
