Oh that is a great idea! I try to put things back at the end of the day also. But, there are times that I just have to walk away.
Between my husband bringing in #2 hutch, and me moving things, I have to call it a day today. If you check the new pic's I posted today, phew I am tired.
I keep a clear plastic bucket on my desk .....for example .... i need a piece of ribbon to go on my layout...i go get my ribbon and add it to my layout then i throw the ribbon spool in the clear bucket. I need a punch, i use it then throw it in the bin when i am done with it....its all in the bucket ...so when i finish with my project...and ready to clean i carry my bucket around the room and start putting my supplies back in....it helps me to keep orgainized. It helps keep a clear desk when i work... also if i decide like i need more ribbon on my project i just get the ribbon out of the bucket and use it again. And my bucket is see through to remind me i need to put all my pretty things back where they belong....
Yea well....good luck!! This is how my area looks! I keep cleaning it and whammoo!!! it happens again! I must be programmed to be this way! But, I DO know where everything is!!!
You might go out to the Resources section (tab above), and look under Articles. Under "Organization and Storage" there's a great article on organizing your scrapbook room in 6 steps. She has some really good ideas.
