I have admired so many of your monochromatic cards that you have in your galleries. I had been thinking along those lines to make two wedding cards that I am way behind in getting made. Picked up a PaperCrafts magazine about ten days ago and low and behold they had two pages of monochromatic cards. Then I learned that there would be a White on White card class offered at My Favorite Things in Eustis, Florida in their brand new classroom. I have never taken a class for card making before, only did a couple of the $2.00 Tuesday Techniques that a now closed LSS offered. They were quick projects. This would be a two hour class and I hesitated making the reservation because of our health--things often change in an instant and a doctor or hospital visit is necessary. But I felt comfortable signing up for this class as I felt I would be able to do all of the necessary tasks to complete the five cards.

Well, in advance of taking the class and spurred on by the examples in the magazine I crafted two of my own cards. This one will be for my cousin's daughter, one of the four surviving quintuplets that I gave a brief background on in the baby cards with the stork and the carriage. She was married in December, see I told you I was behind. So I thought using poinsettias would be appropriate and she loves purples so I went with a wisteria ink to stamp the sentiment.

I used three different dies from My Favorite Things and I used an embossing folder for the tiny dots but I can't remember which one and I am too exhausted to go looking for it...sorry. As always, I truly appreciate your taking time out of your busy day to look at my work and to leave encouraging comments. Have a Blessed Day!
