The Near East is my absolutely favorite archaeological area and the British Museum has an amazing collection. The coins pull out strips of paper describing each picture. Ram in the Thicket is from Ur, southern Iraq, circa 2600-2400 BC. Assyrian winged bull from the Palace of Sargon II, and the third is an ossuary from the southern Levant, mid 5th to 4th century millennium BC. Ossuaries are used to hold the bones of the deceased.
