As soon as we got off the ship in Seattle we checked into our room on base and then headed for the Seattle Aquarium. Our friend, Dr. Jan Beckmann, is a volunteer for the aquarium and we wanted to surprise her but no such luck – it was Sunday and she volunteers on Fridays. We still had a great time at the aquarium.

The King Tut Exhibit was in Seattle; this was the last time the exhibit would be touring North America so I really wanted to go, especially after going into King Tut's tomb in the Valley Of the Kings in Luxor Egypt in 2009.

Then we caught up with Jeff and Natalie for a McDonald's hot fudge Sunday and then hurried to take the tour of Underground Seattle. It was an excellent tour although next time I would go at a later time instead of 6PM. No children are allowed on the later tours so they go into a lot more stories about early Seattle without the censorship as well as ghost stories. I want to hear more of the early stories of Lou Graham, Seattle's famous Madam.

Last stop – the Crab Pot for dinner. As much as I'd love to describe how wonderful it was – there are no words. Jeff and Natalie treated us to the best seafood dinner I've ever had in my life!
