I love to find great masculine cards. I don't know why I never think of a golf card. My uncles and brothers golf and yet that never comes to mind. Great manly card. I must remember this.
I made this card for a contest, but my previous card didn't make it though to the next round so this one didn't get considered. We had a picture of a blue, green, and white quilt to use as inspiration to make a card for a male. This is what I came up with.
I chose pp's with the colors and similar patterns to those in the quilt to make the diamonds, which I drew with a ruler and freehand cut - I was thinking argyle for golf. There are four layers of grass punched cs with foam tape separating the layers. I shaved the real wooden golf tee down to be flat on the back of the top and stuck it in the layers of grass. The large circle is embossed with a swiss dot pattern that I turned upside down to look like the divots in a golf ball - it's popped up on foam tape. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on a small circle and popped that up on the golf ball. I doodled with navy pen around the edges of the card.
