Happy President's Day Everyone!! If you are like me you are taking advantage of a quiet day off...scrapping like crazy!!! This is a lo I did for the Feb. Sketch Challenge over at Scraps of Elegance. I just love the Feb. kit, lots of fun grays and reds, and embellies. This is lo is based on Suepup's sketch and is my entry for the month. This is my DS, Patrick and my 2nd DGS, Cameron 2 summers ago. Cameron is a binky baby and it is hard to get pics without it in his mouth. Patrick was my 10 lbs. little guy at birth and has grown up to become our gentle giant (6' 4" and 265 lbs.) I just love this pic of them together!!

I did alot of elevated layering in this lo, which I'm not sure you can see. I did a sloppy job of glittering around the hearts on purpose to make it look funky like them. Also, I used my new Anna Griffin Cuttlebug to emboss the red mat with little hearts. I just got the machine from HSN, which is the only place it was offered with her new folders. I hope that SB will be able to carry more as they are released.

I've been suffering with major bronchitis this week, and am pretty drugged up. Andddd, last week I had 2 emergency root canals on 2 separate days, so it has been a hellish Feb for me, but as I always say, "You Can't Keep a Good Woman Down!"" LOL!
