Great guy page, no pink bricks here!! Love the medallion and plaid pennants, as well as the plaid matting. It all looks great on the weathered wood b/g paper.
This is wonderful! The bricks don't look pink to me at all. I love how many colours there are in this, hidden in the blokeyness (I just made that word up, I do believe) of it all. Delish!
Wonderful male page and a great pic of your brothers!! I have many photo's that are a little fuzzy or even worse, but they are still worth preserving!! Love the brick masking and banners!!
you did a terrific job on the lift! I love your version of the bricks and I like your choice of the wood background! Great job on the distressing, too!
I just love the wood bg and great use of the leftover flourish! Great pic, Love the suspenders with no shirt!!! Great job on the brick wall and the pennants.
Really cool!! I love it when I can use up some scraps. The photo is priceless. I love your bricks. I love the 3 vintage men on the tag. This is awesome. going in my favs.
Love the photo - what a priceless piece of family history. This is a great lo - no one would ever be able to tell that you were feeling outside your comfort zone.
That photo is a treasure. I identify with pink bricks but you know they do exist IRL. heehee.. You did a great job using all those bits and pieces and the doily leftovers. Glad you didn't toss this one it's a gem.
I totally agree that doing things outside the comfort zone blows me away! I think you did an awesome job on the bricks (again something I havent' tried) and I love the flourishes. The photo really shows the style set of the 70s!!!
A photo of my 3 brothers taken in 1976 ..kind of a fuzzy old photo but there are very few of just the 3 guys together. I did this for the Inspiration challenge where a layout is chosen for you to lift. This lovely layout called Lovely by Carlies was chosen for me to lift.
Mixed media and boy pages are totally out of my comfort zone..I almost threw it away after my bricks turned out pink but I fooled around with and hid most of them...spritzed some dark glimmer mist here and there. I had a pile of stuff to put on here...gears and brads and..you know..guy stuff...well most of it got left behind..I got this far and decided to call it a day..it's not too bad. Those flourishes are the negative space from a doily I cut out with my cricut a couple weeks ago. Cool huh? Used lots of unidentified scraps.
