Give a Cheer
This is for the MSC - Week 4 sketch. I did the twist which was to include arrows on my page.
This is the one and only LO I will have from our 2010 Disney trip. It was sort of a practice run; DH and DD met me in Orlando after I worked a conference and we visited Magic Kingdom (too overwhelming for her at 2 1/2!) and Epcot (which DD loved!). These were taken at the Character Spot in Epcot. She was in heaven meeting all her Disney friends. :) We are going back in May, so I will be much better about taking good photos, keeping memorabilia and all that good stuff. I didn't even get photos at Magic Kingdom - how lame is that?
I had to play around with the sketch to get it to fit four portrait and one landscape photo (the opposite of what the sketch called for). I rotated the left side 90 deg to the right and rotated the right side 90 deg to the left. The star, circle and arrow are "button" shapes from the Silhouette store. They reminded me of the circles on Mickey's pants, and the polka dot paper reminded me of Minnie's dress. :) I found the ears on Google images and traced/cut them -- no need for a punch! I used them in place of the stars on the sketch. The "FRIENDS" was done with the "Waltograph" font (free on dafont.com) and I welded it together. Finished it off with a doodled line around the photos, washi tape and buttons! :)
