Hi Everyone! I'm sharing with you a lo that I've done of my DM and DD's wedding. Don't they look young? Well, they were, she was 17 and he was 19. It was a quick wedding as he was being shipped overseas in the Navy. Her Maid of Honor was my Aunt Pearl (deceased). They were married in My Grandma's home. Her dress was navy blue with white lace and was the fastest dress she could find. The minister was Methodist and lived down the street. Since my Mom's family were staunch Southern Baptists this raised a few eyebrows back in 1952. The photo is very blurry, but as usual it is the only one in existence and very over-exposed. PS can only do so much!!
I created this lo using pps from our November kit at SOE, which is one I didn't even get a chance to use yet!! I cut the chipboard (which looks really gold, but is black with gold paint dabbed) frame with my Cricut and used flowers, etc., from past kits. The two gorgeous butterflies are from Reneasbouquets Etsy Shop; as are the 3 beautiful vanilla flowers. You really can't tell that I did some stamping, inking and gessoing on the bgd pps. I still move cautiously lol!!
