Good morning Boomergen and thank you. I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Suffering a loss is tough enough, I cannot imagine losing my husband. As much as they bug us sometimes we wouldn't dream of losing them. My mom was the greatest mom anyone could want. She raised the 5 of us on her own, what an inspiration on strength that is. Her strength wasn't strong enough for cancer though. I just love and adore her to pieces for everything she did for her children. I don't have a whole lot of pictures of her in my personal stash so my mini book is on a halt at the moment until I can get copies of pictures my family members has.
I have a friend who lost her husband and one of her scrap books for him, her most prescious, was about his kidney failure and her sister being the perfect doner match. He lived a long time after the transplant but diabetes broke him down in the end.
This site is great for inspiration. I hope by searching this brings you comfort in knowing you are not alone in your loss. I embrace you with a cyber hug and want to let you know everything will be alright.
(((Hugs))) Kelly
First of all, my deepest sympathy for your loss. Your mini book is off to a great start. I'm searching for ideas as I just lost my husband of 35 years......Thanks for the inspiration!

This is a work in progress. I'm making my first mini book on my mom. She passed away this past Oct 13, 2012. I'm taking it very slowly and letting each page speak to me.
