This was the first meeting of the new ALA year with District President Patricia Latshaw presiding. Department of Oklahoma President Irene Clingenpeel came to install the district officers for the 2012-2013 year. Junior members Alexis and Jordyn (my sweet girls) participate in each district meeting to teach them leadership and public speaking. I included the newspaper article, but reduced it very small to fit in the scrapbook. :) I am working diligently on earning some PR awards for my unit this year!
