Love the way you used the Spellbinders die-my LSS has that one-will have to cut sone with it at the next crop! The photo and story are wonderful and so perfect for the theme of the beautiful papers! The paper pulling looks fabulous-was that done with water?
OMG how fabulously stunning this page of beauty is.The photo is gorgeous as are the amazing pps . Love how you've embellished it, the folds, lace and dies. Always a wonderful romantic story behind the photo.
I have done this layout for our local scrap store to introduce the new Kaisercraft papers called Remember Me. These beautiful papers are a tribute to those wartime years and have the symbolic Poppy adorning the pages of some. They are due out in April to coincide with Anzac Day. Anzac stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, but can be used for any project .
I have scrapped this pic 3 times now and I still haven't got one for myself. The story about this photo is so appropriate for these beautiful papers that I just couldn't resist scrapping it again.
My Aunt Patricia had this glamour shot taken during WW2 for her fiance to take overseas with him as a reminder of who was waiting for him at home and not to get himself killed. He did come home, but he was wounded severely and lost an arm as a result. They married a couple of years later and had a wonderful life together.
Thanks so much to Gabriellep's tutorial for pulling back paper. I used some spellbinder dies for the lattice and fancy circle flourish which I added some rub and buff. The butterflies are Cheery Lyn and flowers are Prima and Kaisercraft. I can't remember which chippie brand belongs to the chandelier.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. Hope you all have a wonderful day...hugs :)
