Thanks for looking.
I sprayed red on cardstock , then sprayed water on. It was too red. I sprayed yellow on, and it was too orange. I put more water on and let the excess drip off by holding it sideways, and saved what ran off.
I took a bunch of rubber stamps and stamped all over with what was wet.The colors determined which photo to use.
I took this at the bottom of Highland Ave in Northport, i think. It could have been another street. The photo before this shows the view i took of the harbor from up the hill. I thought about including it but it wasnt that good.
I love this photo because i love sunflowers! And Im actually pretty happy about the way this lo came out.
The image on the left is Alphonse Mucha , Princess Hyacinth. I like it because she looks like she has an attitude.
The photo in my photo album shows Highland Ave looking down towards the harbor, then this photo, so i figure the flower heres on Highland.
The earring on the upper right of cardboard is from my sis.
For the cardboard, i put on gesso, then acrylic paints in yellow, green, orange . Lumiere paints. Utee , verdigris , gold embossing pwders. Mica pwdrs . Stickles, alcohol ink.
The Mucha image is from free photos of something or other in the vintage poster range, sorry ive had it for awhile and cant remember exactly. Not hard to find though.
the little sunflwoers at the top and bottom of the princess image are from sunflowr charms pressed into sculpy clay, baked, then painted with acrylics, lumiere and diamond stickles, and green gel pen on one. You can see the charm i used at the bottom left of the pic. I put glossy accents on it, then gold leaf, then pressed it in with a paintbrush and my hands.
Yellow butterfly at top right is a rub on from Paper House.
bling at right on edge of yellow is say it with pearls prima. Cant remember where the swallow brad is from. Butterfly at bottom right by yellow is K, BW Flora and Fauna Nature Illustration. Scroll under photo is Tim Holtz, has acrylic in yellow and green, then crackle.
Orange tulle at left under orange ppr . Also under Princess Hyacinth.
I talked about street names in here because some people here probably know Northport.
