Okay, there are many times I'm inspired by layouts to try a new technique. Many times I will scraplift an idea, but seldom do I scraplift someone else's layout in it's entirety - until I saw Gabrielle Pollacco's "Cuddle" LO from Dec '12. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had the perfect picture for it. It's another frou-frou LO for me, the kind I'm not comfortable doing, but I love Gabrielle's work and I learned how to make felt roses from her awesome tutorial on her blog. Here's her original work
This is a pic of DD1, DD2 and a friend on a cold Colorado night in 2007. Our two families went for horse drawn sleigh rides and hot cocoa. I love the smiles on their faces and you can see the sprinkling of snow on their hoods. I got to use up some 'Robin's Nest' frames and borders that I bought in 2001 when I first started scrappin', always fun to use up old stash - TFL.
