As we approached Panama city a storm was coming in overhead. . . the tender ride in to town was a little rough! :-) I decided to make my journaling cards for this trip in circles, that I typed up and punched out and distressed or changed depending on the layout. I used soot stamping on the background - I had a white sheet with black stripes that I sooted (is that a word??) up with a candle and then stamped a large flourish stamp over to pick up the soot, then sprayed to set. I used a lot of rub ons on this one too, not only the flourishes but the dots on each page, and of course I added bling! The title is done with blue rub ons - I split it and the middle photo between the two layouts so that when the page is opened it's right in the middle.
