Layout Description
A series of photographs showing the many aspects of Webb's life from kittenhood to adulthood. The picture in the upper right is my Mom trying to explain to Webb that she can't be on the counter.

Journaling
Webb was a Manx, which is a breed of cat that is born with little or no tail. When our local verterinarian, Dr. Midyette saw her, she could fit in the palm of my hand. He asked me if I was sure I wanted to keep such an ugly cat! He only sounds like an old grouch. Dr. Midyuette has been the local vet for years and years. When I was in high school, I spent summers working for him. Webb was not impressed and every time she had to go to see him, she would blow up, hiss, spit and growl. I guess she was trying to out grouch him!

Webb qucikly found a way to get into trouble with my Mom by getting up on the counter. This would not be the last time she was up there. A time would come when Mom would let Webb get on the counter 'just to watch the water drain out of the sink'.
