My mum lives in a residential home, and she has been in bed for the last 5 months, very poorly, and I was sure we were going to lose her in January. It was her 82nd birthday on Monday, and when I arrived she was washed, dressed, hair brushed, in a wheelchair and ready to have a birthday tea. It was such a treat to see her looking so well!
