Give a Cheer
This is for:
1. Scraplift the Person Before You. I lifted NJR007's "Santa Baby". Loved how the blocking in the sketch was so clean, yet there was plenty of room for visual interest!
2. Four Categories: Poetry. I used Watching the Wheels by John Lennon as my page title.
3. April Design Seeds challenge.
DD got a bike last weekend. This is me, just stepping back, letting her ride to the park, not worrying about how fast she was going, just how beautiful the day was and how happy she was on her bike.
I used my Cameo to cut the "Wheels" in the title, the bike frame (a project life card from the Silhouette store) and the photo frame. Used some punches for the sun, balloons and clouds, and some American Crafts brads that I picked up at Target. This is my comfort zone in scrapping in terms of style and color, so I had a blast with this one. (Er, once I got over obsessing over the fact that the balloons are higher than the sun - whatever.) Thanks Lisa (DancinIrish) for letting me use your cloud punch! It worked perfectly. :)
