These are copies of two photos. The garage my paternal grandfather built around 1955 or 1956. He had the help of his brother, brother in law and a friend. Sometimes his two sons, Mel Jr and Roger (my dad) would help him and the rest of the guys out with the building process.
My dad had told me the reason his father built this garage. It was a two door garage was to be able to work on and fix his or his families cars. My dad learned how to fix cars through work beside his father in their garage. My dad went on to make cars, trucks and even buses. His career until he retired about 10 years ago.

I also printed these two photos with my Canon Selphy CP900 4x6 printer.
