This is a lo for the Stash Challenge over at Flying Unicorns. I desperately need to use up my ever growing stash of stuff! This lo is made up of old pps from Michaels, old flowers, a wooden fence I picked up at Joann's ages and ages ago, I used my Liquid Pearls (which have been languishing in the back of the tool box for awhile), a stray bit of trim and some old K&Company word stickers, even the photo is old (it's a photo of my grandmother and great-grandmother at a family outing in 1918 or thereabouts). Lots of fussy cutting.
The quote at the top reads:
"In all of us there is a hunger, marrow-deep, to know our heritage, to know who we are and where we came from" - Alex Haley.
This quote is so true, as scrappers, I think we appreciate not only knowing our history, but the value of preserving that history for generations to follow.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and visit my gallery and for leaving your comments and votes, I do appreciate it very much.
