Hi Dear Friends!! It's been over a month since I've posted anything. Still sick (yuck), and we are having a heat wave. It's been in the 70's and we even broke one of our daily records. It's wonderful, my garden really likes it!
This lo is my entry for Team One, Week 3. I was inspired by the 2 talented ladies before me Violent Kitty (Lee) and LucyJJ. VK had this genius idea of suspending a circle with string. It took me forever to figure out how I wanted to lift it. Lucy is such a talented DT, she did all this marvelous layering, which I am still trying to master. I used the fabulous Luminere Paint to get that incredible blue for the circle (which is chipboard) and then I stamped on top of that. Would you believe that the hardest part was getting the twine threaded into the needle so that I could then sew it through the red buttons in the corner, and me a professional seamstress LOL!!!
The photo is of my DGS, Chase. He is sitting on Grandpa's lap reading his animal book. He's about 6 mths old here and adored that book. I got a new camera for my bday, so the pic is taken with my old one. Can you see the difference.
My computer crashed 2 weeks ago so, I haven't been able to print. Fortunately, I found some extra photos that I could use.
I just love SOD/SOE and the Round Robin Challenges!! It really helps to inspire and make me push myself to do different things.
