I haven't posted any layouts this summer because my granddaughter came down to spend part of her summer with me. We were busy transforming my guest room into a scrap room with a daybed. The picture with the queen size bed shows the room as it was before. There was a large maple wall unit on the wall to the right of the bed. There was a maple rocking chair in the corner. I gave away all of the furniture and bought a bunch of different storage cubes, baskets, bins and decorative shoe boxes that were on sale at Michael's. I also bought a new swivel chair, a daybed and cover set.

Although it's a small room, after we emptied the closet, we had room to create two work station - one for standing and one for sitting - and enough storage units to contain all of my scrapping tools and products which had previously been stored throughout the house. I even have a few empty bins left for new purchases. After we moved everything into my new room, we labeled all of the drawers and shelves using a new label maker.

I've now still got a guest room and a wonderful new scrap room. I'm delighted with my new found space and I know that it's going to serve me well for many years to come.
