Inspiration Challenge: this lovely lo by Titesmimes was the inspiration I was challenged to lift -
I like the lo very much but had no clue what I was going to do with it until I was thinking about a plan for challenge #3 in the August Music challenge - use the name of a band, group or solo artist on your lo. As soon as I thought of using Jack Johnson I knew how the two challenges would come together because his song "Sleep Through the Static' popped right into my head . I used some scraps of a laser cut peace sign which I flipped over and first used as a mask on the left side and then misted with several layers of color over the backside and used that on the right. The peace sign 'button' I made from a scrap of LYB from a few years ago, I punched the circles and used gloss accents on them. The journaling on the tag tells why that song has meaning for me and I printed part of the lyric onto the vellum piece at the bottom.
Also for the Hoarders Challenge - everything on here is old stash.
