So I made this mixed media canvas for the Flying Unicorn art journal/mixed media challenge for August, and being my first one, I like how it turned out. I didnt load on a ton of embellishments like most mixed media canvases, mainly because I was scared to LOL! I was also cringing at the thought of using good embellishments for this project, so I used mainly household items and scraps...random chipboard, crocheted trim, gemstones, a plastic bottle cap filled with pearl beads, some almost plain flowers, etc. But I love how the Prima crackle mask turned out, although it is a bit hard to see in the picture. For colour I used lots of Lindy's Stamp Gang mists. Thanks for looking, can't wait to make a second one!
