Dh is a smart guy! I would have passed on that trail too! You have done a wonderful job with this two pager, very pleasing to view, as all of your work is!
I would have skipped the trail with the poisonous snakes too! Actually they don't have to be poisonous to keep me away! We get the park stamps too and I usually put them somewhere in my layouts. I thought I was being original - should have known you do that too - we think so much alike in our scrapbooking! Very nice blocking on this one. I like it!
The Naval Live Oaks area of the Gulf Islands National Seashore in Florida is gorgeous. The oaks area was established in 1828 as the first federal tree farm for the use of the trees for shipbuilding. They have a wonderful visitor center but DH opted out of the trail when the ranger told him about the big, ugly and poisonous snakes on the trail and in the trees. I did manage to get him to walk with me to the lookout. I bought the patch at the visitor center and used the "passport" stamp on the pocket. Included the park brochure. TFL!
