I had some creative playtime the other day so I created this page for the on-going OUAS challenge. I used the sketch provided and theme which was “lucky”. My journaling is written underneath the title and it's about how awesome I think my first born is and lucky I am to be able to call myself her mom.

I used gesso, mesh tape, masking tape and mists together with some stamps and stenciling for the background. First I added the tapes and then stamped with black ink and then toned the harsh black down by adding the gesso on top. Then I misted a chevron pattern and added some splashes of ink to the background. On top I layered the patterned papers and made some patterned paper washers as embellishments.
