one of my fav memories of my experience in New Orleans- sitting and sipping mocha while eating those delicious beignets. I agree- the fuss is worth it.

My mouth is drooling and I'm licking the computer screen! Did you blow the powdered sugar in each other's face? I guess it is a custom. Cool design but I love the lettering. Is that a cricut font?

Beignets - New Orleans - Right Side

I've been to New Orleans many times and on each trip I plan to go to the Café Du Monde for their world famous beignets. However, something always derails my plans and I leave saying, “Next time I will make it to Café' Du Monde and I will try one of their beignets.” Last time I almost made it but the wait in line was an hour and a half and we decided not to stay and didn't go back before leaving New Orleans.

On this trip it was a priority. I was able to grab a table in 15 minutes and was ready to order by the time Bill parked the car and joined me. Oh my goodness! I definitely see what all the fuss is about – they are incredible!
