Oh my gosh, what a beautiful place. Guess what? It is going on my bucket novel. I love old forts. The view of the valley is amazing.

Porto Delgardo, Azores - 2

Monday, April 15th – Finally – dry land!!! After 8 sea days – we were in port! We had a great day in Porto Delgardo in the Azores. We joined 6 other people in a large van for a 6 hour tour of the island. It was foggy early in the morning which spoiled some of the views of the twin lakes on the top of the volcano crater. Then the weather cleared a bit and we visited several other places with spectacular views.
