These are photos my mom took of me and Abby on Christmas Eve 2008 at my parents' house. Journaling says: After all the stress of deadlines and constant running -- planning, shopping, decorating, baking, wrapping -- it's finally my moment to feel...the Joy of Christmas.

This is my example for my December Four Categories Challenge - Category One ~ Product: Doilies. I used 2 doilies, a silver one and a white one. The twist is to include a doily in at least 5 layers somewhere on the page. I have at least 9 layers: background, 2 angled square layers, 2 doilies, horizontal strip, photo mat, photo, flowers.

Also for:
1) VLB Challenge to do a LO that is predominantly white, light blue, and silver.
2) December Music Challenge Category One: Song Lyric. My title 'the joy of Christmas' is a line in the Faith Hill song Where Are You Christmas? from The Grinch Soundtrack. (I feel you Christmas. I know I've found you. You never fade away. The joy of Christmas Stays here inside us, Fills each and every heart with love.) I have the Christmas embellishment twist: the silver Christmas tree in the upper right.
