My boy never did like swimming lessons, but like all the kids in Holland, first they have to get their swimming diploma's (at least one) and after that they can choose any sport they want. Keanu always told me he wants to play tennis, so I told him to do his best at swimming lessons, the sooner he would get tennis lessons. It finally took two years before he got his A-diploma and he was so happy, he didn't want to go for his B or C diploma. His teacher said it was enough for him, he had a hard time during the swimming lessons (now he likes swimming a lot). So a few weeks after he got his diploma there was an introduction day at a tennisclub in our neighbourhood, we went there, and he was allowed to play some balls. The teacher asked him if he already had play some tennis and Keanu answered; yes I play it all the time on the Wii , lol, we were laughing out loud and said well that something totally different, but guess what, he slammed all the balls over the net, lol. The teacher said he has some talent in him. So I subscribed him for tennis lessons, on his first lesson he met his friend which he also had during swimming lessons, he was also starting tennis, now they are playing in the same group and have played some matches already. Keanu is really happy, so glad to see he is having fun. I see I have the date on the photo totally wrong, it was taken last June during Keanu's first match, club championships.
