This started off as a lift of Abbygirls "Days Gone By" of November 4th, 2012,but very quickly took a turn elsewhere.
I started off with watercolor ppr i had painted on a few months ago. I did several of them because they were so fun. I sprayed water on the ppr, then dylusions ink sprays. This one was just red, but when it dried it looked kind of orange. I sprayed some more red on it when i started this. I painted some stripes of silk acrylic on in dark pink. I splattered art deco pen on in gold. Then some painting with gold and silver mica powder. I put some texture paste on the right side using chipboard as a stencil. You can see what i used in the lower left of the page, the heart shapes. All the chipboard is from Gina's Designs.
The photo is from one of my first Valentine's days with my husband.
A lot of the embellies here are from my sister, and from friends here at sb.com. From my sister:The rhinestones and pink crystal bead at the top center. Gold chain along top of page. Heart charm at top right. Big red bling below that. Silver four leaf clover to right of bling. Gold cross at mid right edge.Bottom right side gold cupid charm. Carnelian heart at bottom left of image.
From Quicksilver: Small silver flower charm at top left. Square clear bling above it. Mother of pearl flower below it. Red cord under gold cross. Big silver bee at left side of photo.
From 48SixTime: Cardinal sticker at right edge. Big diamond bling at bottom right corner. Rectangular diamond bling at mid left edge.
From Reneabouquet at top right corner is a corner piece made from clay. I painted it green and gold. Butterfly at bottom left of image. Abbygirl gave me the bright pink seed beads. Cindy JK gave me the gold dewdrops around the edges.
The pressed flowers and feathers are from my backyard.I painted the watercolor tulip next to the fairy, I copied it from a greeting card .The pink rose at the left edge is painted from a bouquet Dh gave me a long time ago. Dh likes frogs so i put some in. Theres one at lower right corner.
