This is my entry into the January Card Challenge Technique category. The challenge required the use of the Faux Silk Technique. The link is as follows: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/faux_silk/

It involves first stamping on regular tissue paper and then crinkling it and smoothing it out again. Then, a layer of adhesive is applied to cardstock and the tissue paper is smoothed over it.

On my paper, I decided to repeatedly stamp a small rose in blue pigment ink and use it as a background piece on my card. I also stamped the larger rose in the same blue pigment ink and then colored it with blue colored pencil.

The stamps are: big rose: unknown/unmarked; smaller rose and sentiment are both PSX.
