You did an amazing job on this gorgeous layout!!! Love all the embossing you did, the gypsy work is fab, and the stamp layering is wonderful too. I really like the way that anchor came out, just fantastic!
WOW! STUNNING! I love that photo of the front view of the ship! That is just gorgeous and it's a great choice to have enlarged! I love the nautical stamps too. This is so inspiring for me to get some more scrapping done today on the cruise album I'm working on. Would you mind if I lifted your technique to try the foam design to make a water effect on one of my pages? This is so inspiring! TFS!
I used my Gypsy to design and cut the title - I layered 6 of the cuts and then heat embossed over it with copper, white and blue embossing powders and then Utee on the top. I used a "foam" design stamp and stamped the bottom of the page and heat embossed over it with white for more of a water affect. I used other nautical stamps to make the tiles and stamped with black Archival ink, on the base pieces and then distress inked them, then heat embossed over them with Utee, then I stamped them again and cut "pieces" out and did the same thing with the opposite color, heat embossed them with Utee also and then layered them over the original stamp. Finally added a few metal pieces that I changed from gold to silver and then of course had to add some bling!
