We were only in Cape Town for two weeks, but we fitted so much in that I had to create five PL pages! The charity ds is working for, put on a fabulous open air concert while we were there - in a natural amphitheatre in a vineyard - we were VIPs and it was so much fun! On our last night in Cape Town, the death of Mandela was announced - we had seen the Nobel Peace Memorial the day before with the bare plinth, and the following day covered with flowers. I was able to sign the first page of the Book of Remembrance at Robben Island - so momentous.
After we got back ds was there another 2 weeks before coming home for Christmas - and was asked to play Santa. Never before have so many little African kids been taken in by the sight of a white Santa - with red hair on his arms! - and forgotten that they knew Josh earlier the same day - priceless!
