Making more distressed mason jars as gifts. Inspired by my bud, Sue, these are fun and easy to make. I bought the "frog lids" on etsy and threaded silk ribbon through the top and added rustic embellies around the raffia. I did use my TCW chicken wire template to add some pattern to the jars. The mustard colored jars were done with milk paint. The sage green is acrylic paint.
I used two coats of paint on each jar and let dry between coats. Sand and distress areas you want and then seal with spray sealer or brush-on sealant. Decorate as desired. Fun, easy & nice gifts.
