So feel your pain and my heart goes out to you. Lost my "Baby" 2 years ago from jerky chicken treats from China of liver disease at the age of 7. Making a scrapbook for each of my dogs lost does aid in the healing process. Your teddy bear paper piecing is so cute. That star design is truly awesome and helps bring out Brandy as the center of attention. My heart grieves with you.

My heart goes out to you and your family. I too know what its like and it is so heartbreaking and painful to loose your pet who has become part of your family. Its an extremely hard decision to make! The loss of a beloved furry friend can be devastating. We've had far too many and it never gets any easier. When we lost our puppy, Maxwell in August, we put a solar powered light next to the rock we buried him under. His little light still shines in our hearts. Big hugs to you and your dh.

Oh Mary I am so sorry! It is always so hard losing our furry friends. It's always a hard decision but she has no more illness now and is happy and playing with other dogs at Rainbow Bridge. You did a wonderful thing for this deserving baby by taking her off the streets and providing her a loving home. So sweet of you to take her siblings some food too. Your tribute lo is beautiful and love the little bear to remind of her destruction of her stuff toys. Big hugs!

Oh Mary! So very sorry for your loss. This memorial page is so beautiful and so precious....little pieces of her. I lost my Buster (my avi) on 12/22/11...big gapping hole in my heart for a long time. Its slowly healing with time, but his presence will forever be missed. Your art is so stunning to begin with, and I'm sure this will help you and your husband heal with time! So sorry for your loss Mary. It does hurt to lose a pet. After we lost our last one, we never replaced him. My husband said it just hurts too much when they die. We've had 3 dogs in our married life. The first two females we had to put down and the last one, a male, died on his own. You did a lovely job on the layout. I love the punches, letters and embellies.
