Memorial page to my dear father. He looked like Dean Martin as a young man and he also had a beautiful voice to match his good looks! Although this layout has quite a bit of floral elements, the colors remain masculine and coordinate well with the colors of his suit and tie. This Basic Grey collection is awesome! Even though a first class stamp was cheaper than 5 cents in 1945, Basic Grey's bird stamp in this collection looked great on this paper being held by a vintage wooden clothespin by 7Gypsies. The tiny buttons come from Hobby Lobby in the scrapbook section. I made the flowers that are positioned to the left and bottom right of the picture using several sizes of Retro Flower punches and then pinched the pedals for a more realistic appearance. The letters spelling 'handsome' are in this collection and are overlapped and then layered with Glossy Accents to give them a bubble-look. I used washi tape with music notes because the paper has sheet music in its background. I die cut the flourish at the top right of this page on both chipboard and paper from this collection then glued together and inked with a dark brown chestnut pigment ink. This was a really fun page to make! Thanks for viewing it! Lisa
