Give a Cheer
One of my best friends from college (we were in Dancin' Irish together and were co-captains our senior year) and I had our daughters (my only - her eldest) 12 days apart. She has four daughters now. Anyway, they live in Cleveland now - her husband is a vascular surgeon at Cleveland Clinic - and until recently, the girls exchanged Christmas presents. This is Cassie with her gifts in 2008. I took the pic so we could include it with her thank you note. The other side is the note they sent to her.
Journaling says: The Lydens set Cassie up this year with Notre Dame & Cleveland themed Christmas gifts: an ND duffle bag, a pink Browns sweatshirt in honor of Brady Quinn, and a Cavs' LeBron James t-shirt. We sent the girls High School Musical & Hannah Montana scrapbook kits, a Hannah doll, and a FurReal chipmunk. 12/20/08
This is for one of our VLB challenges - 'New' - the photo is Cassie with her new stuff; I used a new embossing folder on the red scalloped circle; and I tried a new to me technique, i.e. using an embossing pad with my Spellbinders dies.
I punched the circles with the stocking pattern out of the front of the thank you card they sent. I used a Pencil Lines sketch.
