This is a pic my dad took of me cutting my mom's hair. I always really hated cutting hair, because it just made me so very nervous. However, my mom said no one could cut her hair as well as I did, so she was always making me do it for her. My mom died at the age of 50. I've had a hard time figuring out how to scrap this pic, but I think I finally did it justice and scrapped it with the feelings I have about it...If Only.
I used this sketch as my guide to doing this lo.
This is my lo for the Feb. Pinterest Challenge. The crock made me think of my mom, because she used to use crocks when making pickles. The "love" is part of my mom's name, Olove. I used the flowers on here for the girly, mother-daughter softness.
This is also for the Feb Hoarders Challenge. Everything on this page is filled with supplies I've had for more than a year...some of it more than 10 years! The new stuff is the leaves and the top flower. The oval frame and the title alphas, I'm pretty sure I had when we moved here almost 10 years ago. Everything else falls somewhere between 1 and 10 years in my stash.
