L, the ship is beautiful. How nice your friend had it. I really LOVE the way you did the letters in the title. How did you do that? Spare change makes the best accents on a travel LO. Gorgeous LO!!!
This is the last page of the the Alaskan cruise part of the album I'm working on. Back to my db & sis-in-law's last day in Seattle.
The ship piece in the upper left hand corner is such a special piece. My dear friend and BFF Cindy gave me this from a very special collection she had. It belonged to her Dad, it's dated 1943 on the back and it's one of many Valentines Day cards he received as a little kid back n school. I covered the valentines part, but the old school drawing of the ship was so perfect for this collage.
So a big THANK YOU to Cindy for sharing such a meaningful part of her family treasures. I love you my friend!
The beer coasters are from a Scottish Pub they visited, and I used some leftover change my db had. I left a little space of the lined BG paper for them to journal on.
