This is my first attempt at a paper bag card. Dear friend Marylou (Meggie's Nana) sent me one she'd made for a sample so I could see how they are put together! Thank you Marylou! I have to say it is a huge deviation from any of my previous card styles but it was fun. This is looking at the front of the card. You can insert little gifts in the bag on the front flap. The dragonfly and little verse are from stamps Marylou sent me tucked inside her card. They are Hot Off The Press Dragonfly stamps and so cute! The background was a new technique for me inspired by Tim Holtz's Compendium of Curiosities book using his distress ink pads and craft sheet. The rhinestones are Queen & Co. Twinkle Princess Cut. I stamped the dragonflies with TH Iced Spruce and the butterfly with Tsukineko Eggplant chalk ink. Background paper under the front is K & Company recycled double-sided mat pad.
