Hello everyone. Sharing this altered frame I created for my Mom for Easter. This frame was almost a Mahogany in color. I painted it using 3 coats of Gesso to cover. The cross in the middle was a dark brown with gold and I painted it with gesso along with the Cherubs ( Jolees in gold ). The large flowers are a pretty purple ( Jolees ) adding bling in the centers. The small flowers are 2 different purples however they are showing up burgundy and pink and couldn't color correct them. They are Prima. The bling around the inside of the frame are variations of purple. Around the cross I used pieces of wedding lace I had in my stash and of course the cross sits on a white doily.
