This is a fun page about my family's (me included) obsession with "The Walking Dead". The scanner cut a bit of the black border off of the top edge, but I was too lazy to go get the camera for a better pic - IRL the borders are even! It's done with a combination of pps and using my favorite Pagemaps sketch.
Journaling reads:"I never would have believed that I could get hooked on a series about zombies. I mean, that's the kind of thing my kids like to watch. But, after a couple of years of persuasion by the kids, I gave in... Now we all look forward to tuning in to AMC on Sunday @9:00 PM to catch the latest episode. Currently in its 4th season, the show has a devoted audience of over 16 million!!! And I am one of them... "The Walking Dead" (based on a comic book series) begins with Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes waking up in the hospital, after being shot, to find his town overrun by flesh-eating zombies. Through the series, Rick goes on to lead a group of people in their struggle to survive in a world filled with zombies aka "walkers".
Daryl: "Everybody makes fun of the redneck until the zombie apocalypse."
Interesting fact: "Much of the show has been filmed locally, in Senoia and surrounding areas (included Griffin several times." (we live in Griffin)
Remember this: "Everyone apparently carries the virus that will cause them to come back to life as a zombie after they die. The ONLY way to prevent this or to kill someone who has already turned is a kill shot to the head."
