I've made a few of these... I've sold or traded all of them. This one I made at the request of my fellow artist at The Artisan's on North Street Co-op that I belong to and peddle my creations. I spray painted the frame silver then used Vaseline as resist before I sprayed the black paint. I used the same silver on the clothes pins and Washi tape to decorate them. Even though they asked me to make it they still wanted to "Jury" it. Which means the artisan's jury, that approves new artists and items for the co-op had to say it was good enough to be in the store. HMMMPH! What can you say? All of my creations are completely diverse. Most of or all of the other artisans at the co-op have one single medium they concentrate on... I however, do not. But I don't get prior authorization for anything I put in the shop. One of the jury members, when she saw it in person, said it looked better than it did in the email picture. So that's why they doubted my skills. I left at the end of my shift, ego intact :) thanks for looking! I miss you all!
