Our beautiful Birman kitty, Galadrial (a.k.a. Miss Gali, Honey Bunny, Sweetie Heart, Gorgeous-Gorgeous, Gorgeous & More Gorgeous, Gali, Mama's Big Girl, and a lot more…..LOL), was recently watching me hang the cutest little air plant (tillandsia) up high so that her baby, Lucy (our other Birman-a.k.a ‘Lucy the Bad'-LOL), could not get to it and carry it around the house in her mouth like she did when she first discovered it! Birmans are the perfect cat to have in any family. They love mischief, but really are not ‘bad'. Their eyes are so stunning, as you can see the gorgeous Galadrial's eyes in this photo. Some Birmans eyes are so blue that they are considered violet. This photo is not edited at all. These really are her beautiful eyes. And up against the dark chocolate face mask she has, they really stand out! Only the sunshine was used as the light source to take this awesome photo of her. She is SO sweet all of the time.
Miss Gali's eyes were my inspiration for this LO and I felt she deserved to be on a very colorful and bright page so I chose Bo Bunny's Ambrosia paper. I handmade all of the butterflies; decorated some with crackle; colored diamond dust; and stickles. I always make the antennae and prefer 22gauge wire. The beautiful title chipboard was custom made by Want2Scrap. All flowers are from Michael's and Wild Orchid Crafts. I used 1/2 of a Dusty Attic circle baroque to frame the photo. The teal colored jeweled trim is from Michael's $1 bin.
